Nathan works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He welcomes people with warmth and honest curiosity and then integrates a variety of psychotherapeutic methods to help clients overcome disruptive patterns and improve their relationships. He commonly helps clients with issues around grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-destructive behaviors. Among therapeutic modalities, Nathan uses family systems, humanistic/person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, sandtray and somatic approaches.
Nathan and his family strive to live a holistic, value-driven life full of connection to the people and place around them. His other passions and interests include gardening, cycling and backpacking in the Santa Barbara backcountry.
